Nashua NIMCO - Creative Placemaking and Public Art Plan

Contributed creative placemaking and public art services as a key member of the redevelopment team for the NIMCO industrial site in Nashua, NH.
Worked with the developer, Trinity Financial, architect Icon Architects, and landscape architects Copley Wolff to create a comprehensive mixed use redevelopment program.
Highlights include:
-
Reinterpreting a steep grade-change ADA pathway into a dual-use amphitheater and walkway that accommodated the local Shakespeare Company
-
Creating an east-west connection from the river to the city downtown through local arts wayfinding and community spaces
-
Incorporating arts elements into built infrastructure - concrete stamps, lighting elements, and seating
-
Developing a community and arts engagement strategy to encourage sustainable and long-term use of the space.
